7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your browsing experience and to collect aggregated analytical data. Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a web server when you visit a website. They allow us to recognize your browser and remember certain preferences or activity.

We use two primary types of cookies on our website. Essential cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of our website and cannot be disabled without affecting site performance. These cookies do not collect personally identifiable information and are used solely to enable core site functionality. Analytics cookies allow us to understand how visitors interact with our website — including which pages are most frequently visited, how long visitors remain on certain pages, and how they arrive at our site. This data is collected in aggregate form and is used to improve the design and content of our website.

You have the right to control the use of cookies on your device. Most web browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of our website. For more information on managing cookies, refer to your browser's help documentation.

8. Data Retention

Bisoneva Bookkeeping retains personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to provide our professional services, and to comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and professional obligations.

Client financial records and related personal information are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years, consistent with generally accepted accounting practices, applicable tax recordkeeping requirements, and the standards established by relevant federal and Arizona state regulatory authorities. In some circumstances, records may need to be retained for a longer period as required by law or professional obligation.

Personal information collected through contact forms, general inquiries, and prospective client outreach is retained for as long as it remains relevant to our business relationship and is deleted when it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected.

Records of SMS opt-in consent — including the date, time, and method of opt-in — are retained for the duration of your participation in the Bisoneva Client Messaging program, plus a reasonable additional period thereafter, in order to demonstrate compliance with applicable TCPA and CTIA requirements. These records will not be used for any purpose other than maintaining an accurate record of consent.

However, no method of electronic transmission or data storage is completely secure. While we are committed to protecting your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. For material changes — those that significantly affect the way we handle your personal information — we will provide notice through a prominent announcement on our website, by email to the address on file for your account, or by other appropriate means, prior to the change taking effect. Your continued use of our website or services following any update to this Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
